(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning, prolific director and old-school punk rock bassist Jim Powers has acquired his first X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) Awards nomination, and it’s an impressive one.
Last week, the XRCO announced its 2026 nominees, and the legendary Jim Powers made the coveted list with one of the hottest contested nominations of Best Director (Web). Directing scenes for Adult Time brands GenderX Films, Transfixed, Accidental Gangbang, MILF Overload, Devil’s Films, BiPhoria, and more, as well as hit feature film “Transpirella,” 2025 was a banner year for Jim.
“Let’s go—I’d love to win this one. I’m lucky to have a job I love and have fun every day, being creative and working with amazing people. This nomination is still an honor. Thank you to everyone at the XRCOs,” says Jim Powers.
The 42nd Annual XRCO Awards are set to take place on Sunday, May 24th at Boardners in Hollywood. The star-studded industry-only event will be hosted by Melony Melons and Sarah Arabic. The announcement of all the nominees was made via video and can be viewed on X x.com/XRCOAwards/status/
