Jim Powers Scores Tons of 2025 XBIZ XMAs Noms
(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning prolific director Jim Powers has had an incredible year and has dropped some of his most creative work for Adult Time studios and series, including Dogfart, Devil’s Film, Gender X, Accidental Gangbang, and more. Now, he’s been nominated for his directorial efforts and scenes by the XBIZ XMAs.
Last week, XBIZ announced the 2025 XMA nominees at a red-carpet star-studded event at Sound in the heart of Hollywood, CA. Jim Powers scored two impressive nominations for his directorial efforts—he's up for Director of the Year - Body of Work (Non-Narrative) and Director of the Year - Trans Works. Two of his highly original Gender X films also garnered nominations. "Gilligan's Trans Adventures" and "Space Trans" are both up for Best Trans Movie. And four of the Best Sex Scene - Trans that were nominated were directed by him. Gender X's "Trans Rave" starring Adira Allure, Kasey Kei, Dante Colle, Michael DelRay, and Jade Venus, "Gilligan's Trans Adventures" starring Ariel Demure and Roman Todd, and "Transsexual Nurses 3" starring Kasey Kei and Wolf Hudson, and Adult Time's Accidental Gangbang “Bachelor Party Surprise: A Jim Powers Spotlight" starring Brittney Kade, Michael DelRay, Wolf Hudson, Steve Rickz, Sage Roux, Jay Tee and Roman Todd.
“I’m honored to be up for two directorial awards and to have XBIZ recognize my work. It’s great that a tom of my scenes was nominated too. I’d love for Brittney Kade’s Accidental Gangbang to win because it was one of the best scenes I directed this year, and it’s just incredible. The XMAs are set to take place on Sunday, January 19th, at the historic Hollywood Palladium.
